I love being a Dentist. Ever since I was young I wanted to be a doctor. I found interest in math, science and anatomy, as well as, art and working with my hands. When the time came to decide on a profession, all signs seemed to point me to a career in dentistry. So I went to school, enjoyed the challenge and found the work rewarding, right from the start. I earned a degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University before continuing my education at University of the Pacific Dental School.
I love to Smile. I am a happy natured person and enjoy being around people. My daily interactions with patients, who eventually become friends, enrich my life. Our office is a place where people can feel comfortable, be themselves, laugh and enjoy their dental visit! Aside from dentistry, I love spending time with family and friends and being adventurous with my 3 boys. Working out, sports, being active and leading a healthy lifestyle are things I enjoy and find rewarding. Good movies and books help me think and relax. Austin has been a great place to provide all these things and is the place I call home.
The most rewarding part of our job is putting smiles on the faces
of our patients. Putting smiles on each other’s faces, though, is
a close second.
Smiling is...happiness and friendship, confidence and strength.
Aside from sitting on the couch with my kids and a candy bowl watching a good movie, happiness and laughter come from experiencing life through genuine relationships with family and friends. Be real. Be you!
Smiling is...one of the best remedies. It may often be the most important gift you give to others and yourself.
Watching my two children and german shepherd doing the silliest and cutest things gives me the biggest smile and warms my heart. I adore them!
Smiling is...looking on the bright side each and every day. When you give away a smile
My family, work, and friends. Seeing my
garden grow. Being silly and a good joke.
Smiling is…infectious. Savor the smiles and laughter of your children, there is nothing more important.
Doing something worthwhile…to give of myself, forgive others and live with Thanksgiving. Life is about giving, not getting. To lie down at night and know I did my best to be kind to someone, to have compassion to let them know they are not alone, to make them smile and to know I made a difference.
Smiling is…my favorite exercise!
Chocolate! Watching my boys and husband
having dad/son time always brings a smile to my face. I am so lucky to have them in my
life. Hearing my boys laugh is contagious.
Smiling is…Happiness. It is the reflection of a happy soul.
There is nothing better than to come home and be greeted with a big hug and hearing my favorite word…Mama. I love my husband who makes taking care of his family a priority and my 2 year old daughter Allie.
Smiling is…a source of happiness. It heals the soul.
“Family Day” spent with my husband, and daughter. Simple pleasures that make my daughter smile with excitement, like blowing bubbles, singing/dancing, and all of her milestones make me smile.
Smiling is...an awesome way to improve how you feel and the mood of others around you. We can show love to each other with just a smile, how powerful is that?
Quality time with my husband and two girls, Sophia and Olivia. I smile when I am lucky enough to witness light bulb moments our girls make. It is so cool to watch them learn and grow, we are so lucky to have them.
